Community Connections
Child Care Resource & Referral works diligently to connect children and families to community resources that will meet their individual needs and enhance their quality of life in Will, Grundy, Kankakee, and Kendall Counties.
During the pandemic, CCR&R employees provided PPE, books and diapers to providers, partnered with the Illinois Department of Public Health to provide Free COVID-19 Testing, partnered with the NAACP during a diaper drive and delivered supplies to child care partners during the pandemic. CCR&R also provided Census 2020 outreach to 29,000 members of the community.
A connection is the energy that exists between two people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.
