Workshop: Using Developmental Screenings to Support Growth in Young Children

This training provides an overview of developmental milestones and the role of screenings in identifying and supporting children’s growth from birth through early childhood. Participants will explore commonly used developmental screening tools, learn how to observe and document developmental progress, and understand when and how to share concerns with families. The session emphasizes using screening results to guide individualized supports, strengthen family partnerships, and connect children to early intervention resources when needed—all while maintaining respectful, strengths-based practices.
