CCR&R has partnered with Reaching Across Illinois Library Systems (RAILS) to ensure a complete and accurate count for the 2020 Census.

Census information helps determine which areas qualify for critical resources that children and families depend on for the next 10 years.  Over 675 billion dollars are at stake and the results of the 2020 Census will affect funding for programs such as the Child Care Assistance Program and Head Start, as well as services related to childcare, housing, public schools, early intervention services, food assistance, and more.

You can help us by making the 2020 Census a part of your classroom.  Click on the links below for some great ideas to bring the 2020 Census to life in your program or classroom.

An estimated 5 percent of kids under the age of five were missed in the 2010 Census.  At about 1 million babies and young children, that is the largest under count of any age group.  We need your help closing the gap in the 2020 Census

Help families complete their 2020 Census survey online by having laptops or tablets available in your parent center or program lobby.
