Child Care Resource and Referral partners with NAACP

On August 8, 2020, Child Care Resource and Referral partnered with the local NAACP to distribute safety items and toiletries to low-income families in Will County.  As we continue to navigate the challenges associated with COVID-19 we understand the hardships that families have faced in accessing the necessary supplies to be safe and healthy.  As part of the distribution event, families received items such as paper towels, masks, and hand sanitizers.  CCR&R was also able to utilize donations from the United Way’s Women United Community Baby Shower to provide diaper bundles to those families with younger children.  In all, CCR&R and the NAACP were able to provide much needed resources to over 30 families.
