CCR&R
promotes and facilitates affordable,
quality child care through assistance,
education and advocacy in Will,
Grundy, Kendall and Kankakee
counties.
Who is CCR&R
Founded in January, 1991, CCR&R serves Will, Grundy, Kendall and Kankakee counties as part of
the Illinois Statewide CCR&R System of IDHS. Started
with the United Way of Will County as its fiscal agent, CCR&R is a not for-
profit agency providing services to families, child
care providers, and employers.
Family Services
Parents seeking child care may call the convenient
child care referral toll free number and speak to a
child care specialist who will offer comprehensive
consumer
education on:
- Child Care Options
- Child Development
- Licensing Regulations
- Quality Indicators
- Financial Assistance
Parents receive referrals, NOT RECOMMENDATIONS,
to child care providers that may meet their identified
needs. CCR&R has over 1,000 different child
care providers listed on its database:
- Infant through School Age Care
- Center Based
- Home Based
- Full/Part Time
Employer Services
Many employers are realizing that providing child
care benefits to their employees lowers absenteeism,
increases productivity and improves morale while
enhancing corporate image. CCR&R assists
employers by providing:

Providing child care is both challenging and

CCR&R Membership
For those individuals who are not child care
providers but would like to receive the provider
services listed, annual membership to CCR&R
may be purchased. Membership benefits include
use of resource centers, newsletters, training
calendars and free workshops.
Financial Assistance
Individuals who are income eligible and
are working or enrolled in an approved
education/training program are eligible for
assistance in their child care payments. CCR&R
partners with the Department of Human Services
in assisting Illinois families with their financial
child care needs.
