NOTICE TO PROVIDERS REGARDING DIRECT DEPOSIT PAYMENTS
Are you paid by direct deposit? The Office of the Comptroller offers a very good option to see payment information. There's a difference area of their website and it requires the provider to sign up for a passcode/PIN. the providers are able to view the exact same information that comes on a paper check? month of service, date of issue, amount, case number, client name, chidrens names and amount paid for each child. Also, deductions to the payment or add-ons are also listed. To sign up for this, direct deposit recipients need to call the Office of the Comptroller Direct Deposit Unit at (217) 557-0930.
*Payments are generally issued by The Office of the Comptroller 1-3 working days after the approval date.
Generally, debit card payments will be on the card two working days after the payment is issued. With the new cards, it sometimes take 2 ½ to 3 working days after the issue date to reach the card account.
The DHS Payment Information Line (217-524-9041) is working. Providers and clients can use that number to hear a recording of the current payment process, and other information.
